Reuzel means lard in Dutch language. It's by no means a coincidence, since all pomades were originally made using lard as their base and apples as their fragrance. Reuzel the brand is quite young however. It was founded by Leen and Bertus, two barbers from the legendary Schorem barbershop in Rotterdam with more than 50 years of experience in the field.
Reuzel is here to make sure that as styles change, the attitude remains the same.
Beard balm has basically two functions. Firstly, it provides nutrition to the skin under the beard, which often suffers, and secondly, it helps to soften the beard and keep it in place. We are sorry, there are three functions – it also smells nice, this one smells only slightly though, of wood and vanilla.
It contains argan oil and shea butter.
How to use it?
Ideally apply to dry or damp beard. Melt a small amount of the balm in your palms, apply evenly to the beard. Then brush it with a brush.
