In this new version it comes with a different, non-flammable solvent, which makes it a perfect travel companion - a one that can even board a plane with you. This change in ingredients has an effect on the overall consistency of this wax, as it makes it slightly dryer, right in the middle between a classic wax polish and the famed Mirror Gloss.
Saphir waxes contain twice as much pigment as the common ones, which - together with their natural ingredients - is why they are considered the best in the world. But don't just take us for our word – ask any professional shoe cleaner. Using the wax is great yet slightly toilsome way of reaching a mirror-like shine - its application requires some practice. It is suitable for newer shoes – because it does not cover scratches and marks as well as the cream polish.
