Reuzel means lard in Dutch language. It's by no means a coincidence, since all pomades were originally made using lard as their base and apples as their fragrance. Reuzel the brand is quite young however. It was founded by Leen and Bertus, two barbers from the legendary Schorem barbershop in Rotterdam with more than 50 years of experience in the field.
Reuzel is here to make sure that as styles change, the attitude remains the same.

If you change your mind during the day and want to comb your hair in the other direction, you can do that with ease, since it doesn't dry out. The resulting hairstyle will be matte, with almost no shine to speak of.
