  • Grooming tonic crafted by the famous Schorem barbers. Perfect for a light and natural hold, ideal on hairdryer-dried hair.

    What is it good for?

    Perfect for all hair types, including the ones often exposed to pomades. Grooming toinic is either the first or last layer, based on what you want to do next with your hair. It gives them a light hold and nourishes them, thus making them softer and easier to comb.

    Why does it work?

    Thanks to its natural ingredients. Witch-hazel extract has astringent properties, nettle adds shine, rosemary helps with nutrition, horsetail extract strengthens the hair and argan oil protects them.

    How to use it?

    Shake the bottle well, rub a small volume of tonic between your palms and then apply to damp, towel-dried hair. And then, well, that depends. Either you can let the hair dry naturally, which will result in a completely natural look. Or you can use hair dryer and comb to style the hair in the desired shape. Or you can forget all that and only use tonic in the very end, after you apply the pomade - doing that will result in a better hold and stronger shine.

  • Reuzel means lard in Dutch language. It's by no means a coincidence, since all pomades were originally made using lard as their base and apples as their fragrance. Reuzel the brand is quite young however. It was founded by Leen and Bertus, two barbers from the legendary Schorem barbershop in Rotterdam with more than 50 years of experience in the field.

    Reuzel is here to make sure that as styles change, the attitude remains the same.
